No experience can ever separate us from the love of God. We are NEVER beyond the reach of God`s love nomatter the hell we may go through. This is clearly displayed in the intensely moving story of Miss Shammah.

These words are what threatened to forever define 22 year old Miss Shammah as she grew up with her closely guarded SECRET. 1 in 20 children are a victim of sexual abuse and according to recent  STATISTICS, 90% of these cases are perpetrated by people who the children know and closely trust. A high percentage of these VICTIMS then go on ahead to battle the effects of sexual abuse in silence in their closets. Miss Shammah is part of the 1 in 20, part of the 90% and finally she is also part of those who battled the horrendous effects of child abuse in her solitary place.

However, her journey to recovery began ONE DAY in her living room, head laid on her mothers lap, father and other siblings present, she was drenched in tears and at that point, she broke a decade old silence with the words that were to usher in a period of restoration and deliverance:

I have something to tell you.

The first born daughter of two pastors she was very much well acquainted with church but yet felt so distant to the only one able to heal her of the brokenness and shame: GOD.  So she settled for a churchy lifestyle, one foot it and one foot out & only carrying a form of godliness (but denying the power)

She battled her way through insecurity, addiction, self harm and suicidal thoughts. Miss Shammah struggled with the shameful compromise it took to ensure she had food to eat at one point. Further bruised by the consequences of toxic relationships which involved compromise & a tearing down of everything her parents had instilled in her she plunged into deep depression. Her broken and battered soul faced rejection from all around her family. The shame attached with making public mistakes within church walls and outside tormented her the more. She became hardened towards God and was convinced God would never want anything to do with her again. How WRONG she was!

NOW free, healed, whole and having collided face to face with purpose she is based in Yorkshire where she is a support worker working with Adults with Acquired Brain Injury. In September this year she starts her 3 year Law degree. She has a mandate to spread the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to ALL who have ears to hear and eyes to read. A gifted writer, anointed preacher of the Word, intimate worshipper, singer/songwriter and a businesswoman she has a heart for the hurting and the broken because she has been there. Coming from a place of complete apathy, confusion and rebellion concerning the things of God to falling head over heels in love with Him, she now lives with a confidence and boldness that inspires many across the globe. No longer focusing on the past or those who have so desperately tried to keep her there, but rather on the Author and the Finisher of her faith JESUS! Through her blog 'Handwriting Of Heaven' which increases in dozens of followers daily she tells her story and journey of her life in Christ so far through daily encouraging, inspiring & uplifting words from the Word of God.

Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ? Shall suffering, affliction or tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? For I am persuaded beyond doubt and am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
— Romans 8:35, 38-39
